Hey there!

Thanks for coming and having a little look at my website - I hope you enjoy looking around!

I've been modeling for 6 years now, and love what I do immensely. I've recently moved to Australia, after completing a BA (hons) in Marketing at Bournemouth University in the UK, to persue my dream over on the other side of the world. I landed in Perth, WA, and love the fact that I am now based in the most beautiful place in the world. But please do get in contact if you're anywhere in Australia or further afield, as I love to travel for work!

As well as a photographic glamour model, I also enjoy doing promotional work. But my absolute favourite is the good old Beauty Pageants!

Please get in contact if you'd like to work with me, and make sure you add me as a friend on Facebook!

Puppies

So, as many of you know, I have a beautiful Dalmatian puppy called Magnus in the UK. Well, he’s not so much of a puppy any more, being 8 years old and weighing the same as me! Due to complications with my landlord when I was finishing my degree, Magnus had to go and live with someone else, and unfortunately that person is now refusing to give him back. It’s a very sad time, especially as my mum is back in the UK without me – she’d love Magnus to keep her company. Anyway, I saw in the paper last weekend that there were Dalmatian puppies available here in Perth – 11 weeks old! I was so excited, I just couldn’t help myself! I just had to go and see them! And Oh my! Were they beautiful or what?! There were four of them – 2 with heaps of spots and 2 with very few spots! I fell in love instantly. But like a good girl, I walked away and considered things.....until the next day when I decided I NEEDED her! So I set off the very next day only to have a reality check that where on earth was I going to live with my new best friend??? So half way to pick her up, I turned round!!! I know! So unlike me to not continue with my spontaneous act! There were tears at bedtime, let me tell you... So, one week on, and I have dreamt about her every night – true love??? I think so.... So right now, I am writing this and trying my damned hardest not to get in my car and got and pick her up...... Stay tuned....

Bunker Bay

After my crazy Christmas, I thought it would be lovely to go away for a few days to the beautiful Margaret River region of WA, and have a little relaxation retreat in the beautiful Bunker Bay http://www.mirvachotels.com/quay-west-resort-bunker-bay. Check out the link – it truly is gorgeous. We didn’t have the best experience there – it was beautiful, and on a lovely secluded beach with beautiful white sands and turquoise sea – but unfortunately we had to move rooms twice – the first time our room didn’t have a King size bed (Who sleeps in a single bed nowadays?? ) and the second time due to a MOUSE being in our room at 1am!!! Yes, a mouse! Or a possum. But either way!!! And the most disappointing thing was that they offered us no compensation for the additional guest in our room ☹

Zorro

I like to name my cars – I think most females do. It’s an affection thing for an object that we really have no comprehension of/interest in. Apart from whether it will get me to my desired destination. And what colour I’ll be arriving in. I have been in Australia for nearly a year, and still have Audrina at home – that’ll be my Audi TT, Audrina. I decided I needed a car here and cannot keep borrowing people’s cars – ridiculous that I’ve even managed it for a year. I wonder how long I could have actually kept it up – I may never have needed to buy another car again! Plus, poor Audrina is just sitting on my drive way looking all sexy and not doing much else.... If you’ve read my Puppies! post, you’ll know I’m a spontaneous madam and in true Leila-style I saw my 350Z online whilst on a little relaxation retreat at Bunker Bay http://www.mirvachotels.com/quay-west-resort-bunker-bay – I’ll tell you about that another day! – test drove it on my way home from Bunker Bay, and went back to Bunbury, from Perth, the next day to buy it!!! So I now have a car here. Her name is Zorro, and she is black. Much like Audrina. I’m a creature of habit, what can I say?! However, I’m sad to announce that Australian folk don’t seem to like me having such a beautiful car; within the first week of having it, someone jumped the fence of the car-port where Zorro was parked, and slashed the roof to get into her. Once inside, they ripped the glove box area out, looking for anything to steal obviously. But I’m a clever-cat, and there was nothing for the jerks to take. At all. So I woke up to find my roof slashed, my doors wide open and my dash board in pieces on the floor ☹ sad day. And now, one week after this incident, I was working down in Collie and the night I was due to leave I went to find my tyres had been let down. People really are idiots in this world....

Happy New Year!

Wooo! Happy 2011 everyone! Hope you saw it in with a bang! I had the best New Years this year – firstly, I was in Perth, which is my favourite place in the world! Secondly, I had awesome cocktails and got Lai’d at Hula Bula bar with my mum – www.hulabulabar.com – and had awesome cocktails and laughed lots! My mum got hit on by someone half her HEIGHT! Haha Make sure you try the Hona Lulu if you ever go there!

After drinks at Hula Bula, I headed to a party on the Swan River on a boat! I LOVE boats so this was so much fun! We watched the fireworks out on the river and had heaps of fun! Although, if you ever head out on a boat and you’re a girl, remember to check whether they have a toilet on board!! Hahaha

New Years Day I headed to Perth Cup with my mum – I love stuff like that, where I get to dress up like a princess! It was super hot though, so we only ended up getting there at 2pm....we got to see the big race of the day though, which is good! I actually didn’t even bet – I like a little flutter at the casino, but not so much betting on animals! My mum bet though, and lost! Booooo!

I hope 2011 is full of wealth, health and happiness for you all xxxx

Jingle Bell Rock…

Christmas is by far my favourite time of year, and I am so excited to have my mum coming over here for the festive period! She arrives just before her birthday, after spending a few days in New York with my sister, who’s a vet over there. Hopefully her jet lag will have subsided by the time her birthday comes round as I’ve booked a table for us at the revolving restaurant in Perth – www.crestaurant.com.au I went there on a date a few months back and fell in love – quite literally ;)

Christmas is going to be hectic this year – my first 40 degree Christmas , with my mum who has come from -18 in the UK! I so hope she doesn’t faint! I have heaps planned for her time here, including showing her beautiful Mindarie Marina – my favourite place in WA – and Perth Cup on New Years Day. We’re spending Christmas day all over the place, having a BBQ for breakfast and then a traditional Christmas Dinner outside at Heidi Anne’s family’s house! I love big family get-togethers, and this will be no exception, with the guest count for Christmas Day reaching 16 so far! I don’t envy Heidi’s mum at all!

Miss Paralicious 2010

Last Friday was the Miss Paralicious 2010 Calendar Competition down at Paramount in Northbridge, Perth. The competition was publicised through WA radio station 92.2fm and their website www.929.com.au and by the date of the competition there were 200 sexy ladies on the competition website! So, obviously I was a little nervous about the actual competition night, when 200 would be taken down to 24! The only votes that were taken into consideration were the ones from the public on the website, so thanks to those of you who voted ☺ I was lucky enough to make it through to the final 24 which I was super stoked about!

The next leg of the competition is this Friday, and I need everyone to vote all over again at http://www.929.com.au/Paralicious-Calendar-Search-2011-Top-24?selectedImage=10 I’m contestant #106.

At this heat, we have to wear Sportswear, so make sure you come down to see what sexy little outfit I have decided to wear! If you let them know at the door that you are supporting me, contestant #106 then you can get wrist bands for discounted drinks! Always good on a Friday! Wish me luck!

On Top of the World

When I first arrived on to Aussie soil, I had the pleasure of shooting with a very talented photographer called Ben Levis. He was the first photographer I met out here, and the first to make me look BANGING with short hair! I’ve been itching to shoot with him again, but just haven’t had the time. But we finally got a date sorted and shot yesterday! I was so excited and rightly so; the set was amazing! We used our roof top pool and everything bright that Heidi and I had and lots of oil to make us look all sexy and shiny! The results from what I saw on the little preview screen were AWESOME! I shot with Heidi, as well as by myself, and I am just so excited to see the final pictures! Although we did have a random old lady swimming in the background in some of them so hopefully she won’t have ruined too many! I’ve taken some videos too, so will be sure to get them uploaded for you soon....

Balinese Princesses

Well, I have just got back from my amazing stint in Bali with Heidi – 16 days of being crazy princesses and we need another holiday to recover from our first holiday! On our second day of being in Bali, I celebrated my birthday and – this is no exaggeration – we couldn’t walk. Literally, we had hop-skipped-jumped ourselves stupid and we were broken! The actual birthday evening was immense – Heidi ensured we had no watches and so we partied til we got thrown out of the clubs....I didn’t even know they did that in Bali so I am pretty impressed with us! Heidi took a birthday card round for the evening too and amazingly managed to bring it all the way back to Australia with us, with birthday wishes and random shizzle scribbled all over it! Awesome memories!

We stayed at the Ida Hotel in Kuta as it was really central and cheap, but I’d probably say it was my favourite hotel out of trip – the bathroom was outdoors, and the doorways were like little miniature doors for small people! I loved it! After 3 days there we went to Sanur to a bungalow on the beach and it was beautiful there; so relaxing compared with Kuta! But, like silly girls, we sunbathed with no lotion on and I got super burnt! ☹ Not fun! So the lesson of the trip was: WEAR SUNSCREEN! Then we went back to Kuta for some more partying and mayhem on scooters. I wish we had a camera crew following us – the stuff we get up to you wouldn’t even believe!!!

Warm Houses and Birthday Surprises

It’s my birthday this week. I’ll be 21. Again. Anyway, Heidi and I have booked a crazy 16 day party extraordinaire holiday in Bali and will be leaving on Wednesday so we can celebrate my actual birthday on Friday out there! SO excited! Anyway, we moved in to our amazing apartment just over 2 weeks ago now, and so thought it was time for a little house warming slash birthday drinkies in Perth. Disappointingly we chose Bathurst Day to have our party on, so loads of our favourite girls were working ☹ But we still had a great time and got faaaarrrr too drunk.....I’m still suffering now and it’s 9.15pm! haha Sign of getting old I think! Jager Bombs were the fave tipple of the evening....

Up in the gym, working on our fitness

As summer is our busiest time of work, we decided to hire the help of a personal trainer to get us fit and sexy for summer! So I have been up in the gym, trying to work hard (honestly, I have been trying!) and giving my new personal trainer such a hard time. I feel awful for him! But like a good girl, I have just had 10 fish oil tablets and didn’t spew once so I think I deserve a big pat on the back! Watch this space to see how my gym adventures are going.... .

Life in the fast lane

After much deliberation and searching, I have found the most amazing apartment in the city! I am so happy! I’ve moved in with my sexiest bestie, Heidi Anne, and we are going to cause a full on riot living here! I am writing this blog post from my balcony, and already I have been tempted to heckle poor passers-by! Hahaha. When I first saw the apartment online I knew it was love – it has purple carpets!!!! Oh yes! And a pool and Jacuzzi on the roof, a gym, a herb garden with STRAWBERRIES ( I adore strawberries!!!!) and a sauna! AND it’s opposite a bottle shop – woo woo! Also across the road is a backpackers......Heidi’s exact words upon seeing this were “Well, that’s just going to get us in trouble now isn’t it?!” Well, we’ll just have to wait and see....

Take a photo...it’ll last longer....

When I meet guys, they sometimes ask whether people recognise me. Back in the UK it happened rather a lot; I worked on TV and appeared in lots of magazines. But here in Australia, I’ve only appeared in a few magazines, and so I found what happened at the service station to be too funny for words.....
I pull up in Heidi’s cute little Jimny and begin filling up when I hear a man cursing under his breath....due to him staring at me so much whilst filling his car with fuel, he managed to forget to take his finger off the fuel button and over filled his tank...and covered his car.....and himself in petrol!!!! What a jerk! So he was busy wiping the fuel off his car while I was minding my own business filling up El Jimny. He must have paid while I was still doing that, as I went and paid and had already forgotten about this weirdo....but then when I came back out he was waiting for me with his CAMERA in his hand taking a photo of me! How BIZARRE! He had no shame – he was blatantly doing it....I didn’t know what to do or where to look!!! So I just got into my car and, low and behold, he pulled up next to me! I really felt super awkward now, so just ignored him and after about 30 seconds of peering into my car he drove off! WHAT A NUTTER!!!
I actually can’t stop laughing about this.... I now have the ability to put people off mundane tasks like refuelling. And I wasn't even naked.

The First Post

When having my website built, I thought it would be cool to have a little section where I can keep you posted with all of my crazy activities – hell know there’s enough of them with my job! So, this is where you can keep up to date with my shenanigans and also hopefully see photos of what I’m blarting on about if I can be that technologically savvy! I am a girlie after all! .
